Rain, rain, go away, come back another day, when i'm not working and i don't depend on customers feeling like it's a good day for a car wash. For real yo! Being sick last week has left me broke! And this ain't helpin. Two weeks to the day 'til my last final and my trip to the motherland!

I Need Place to Rent/Roommates ASAP

need some help guys:

so i'm looking to do some minor relocating, in the miami area; currently i'm at a tia's house in kendall, and would like to migrate NE towards the south miami/west miami/coral way locales

i also definitely would like to live with roommates; i'm down to lease a place or join an existing arrangement; i'm also decently flexible on the price, and plan paying off the first few months, right off the bat

if anyone knows about any trustworthy people or places, i would greatly appreciate if you could send that info my way, thank you!!!

God, Why did you create the Haters?

for real, god or no god, planet earth is abundantly full of people who can't stand other people for whatever reason; sure no one's perfect, myself least of all, and prejudice and feelings are all natural human conditions that make us all alike; but what seems to divide us is our subsequent actions based on feelings and thoughts on life, regardless of how factually based they are and where they come from

i recently had three conversations with gentlemen all just a bit younger than me, sort of on this same subject; one was black, one was white, and one was latino; i won't say who said what, because it evades my point; hearing their views on the progress of this country and the world to end notions and conditions of inequality made me feel equally hopeful, sad, and angry; ya, things have improved, but there is still a great deal of ill will towards others; and i'm not talking about crime or conflict in general, i'm talking racism and all the other forms of discrimination and unrelenting prejudice

i'd say we have a long way to go, but i don't feel like thats even true when we're talking about people's opinions; how the hell do you change that? or tell someone they're fundamentally wrong and then have them see it another way; it sure does seem impossible, but i refuse to believe so

i remain a positive champion of equality and hope that spreading my views will do more good than bad; and i challenge anyone to give me one good reason to hate anyone

Ecuador Bound

its official, I bought my tickets to the motherland today for a mid August Vacation; I haven't been there since Summer of 2005, so I'm pretty stoked!!! I haven't been on a real vacation (longer than a week) since 2006!

that being said, I now make public my 6 week plan:

1) Pass my Dynamics and Dif Eq classes

2) Find a new 9 to 5 by August

3) Find a place to live for when I return

4) Register for 5 classes in the Fall term
